I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Museum Studies and Arts Management from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.
While I consider myself an artist (and I always have), I currently focus much of my time on my role as the Operations Coordinator for the Artisan & Business Center at NWTC. This allows me to support artists and the arts community through my daily work.
As a lifelong artist, the artwork that I create is inspired by daily life and personal experiences. With a process driven by introspection and intuition, I approach my works using training from multiple disciplines typically resulting in two-dimensional ‘paintings.’ I build tactile, texture-rich layers comprised of vintage textiles and ephemera.
My artwork is a labor of love, meditation, and drive (maybe compulsion) to create tangible art with my hands. With a process that is deeply personal and often indicative of my state of mind, I live to create.
I invite you to explore my projects, view some of my work or to reach out anytime using my contact form. I’d love to hear from you!
